Ollie Kiss Kiss You`re back! Obviously without a new all singing, composing, typing machine. Sad

Your link is a hoot! Mid-way through it, I suddenly thought " `ang on a mo" then 37 jumped up. Great!

How is The Gate? It seems to have been silent for too long.  We have been Hooooooooooooonless Please send my best regards to the Sudden knees.

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I like it! But that map is disappointingly unclear on how one is supposed to drive across the channel. Find a suitable ramp, hit the gas and hope for the best, I presume?

Welcome back to Ollie-Gar-Key - hope that new computer is serving you well! Like losing a close friend when a computer dies on you, isn't it?

(I wonder which fits of mirth from Ollie have been captured on CCTV in bars and cafes when he has stumbled upon certain types of links? Smiley )

After some (harrowing) experiences of being driven by certain musicians, leading to new apprehensions of mortality, I started to speculate on the driving habits of others - I reckon the above might be Pierre-Laurent Aimard going for a quick spin in the country.

what's the definition of an extrovert actuary?

He looks at your shoes rather than his own....

Excellent!

Grow your own dope!  Plant an actuary......

My dear friends, I would be failing in my duty of care if I failed to alert you to the following.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&saddr=London,+UK&daddr=New+York,+NY&sll=48.166085,-36.5625&sspn=49.410861,63.369141&layer=&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=3

Pay special attention to step 37.

Do also note: "You may find that construction projects, traffic, or other events may cause road conditions to differ from the map results".

And a big thank you to Mark Knoop, occasional lurker here. You've just had me snorking out loud in an internet café where everyone thinks, not without reason, that I've lost the plot. Wink

ollie hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooon.

That is a wonderful link, thank you. I shall remember it if ever I do travel  Grin

No really, hh, it looked as though it was laughing! I have no excuse for this because I have not been to a hostelry tonight. I`ve just replied to you on The Other Place thread. Hells bells I`m hungry now. Sigh.

Just to give me a sense of achievement, here is an extract from the piano part of the piece on which I am currently working.

It looks a bit like an engineering diagram has had a collision with some innocent bystanding notes.

I'm going to risk posting three times in a row and being yclept a troll.
It's the nicest day since Tuesday here. A little bit bright, but quite a lot breezy.
A day in which to get things done.
I live in hope.
