The bus garage we use has its own earth. The cubs are quite used to humans and trot about among the buses as they (the buses) are driven in and out of the garage.

I won at Bridge tonight!  My all-time highest monetary win in all the years I've been playing.  What a pity we only play for 1p per 100 points.  Still, an impressive win at 37p!

I hope you are all duly impressed.  Grin

Extremely impressed, Milly!

This pic really belongs to the trek set, but is rather apt considering the mentione about feeding animals. These kittens weren't feral, but belonged to the farmer who ran one of the campsites: although the farm was some way distant, the kittens knew to come and ask for food when people arrived at the site, obviously trained by mum, who turned up later. We'd had tubs of potato salad made with crème fraîche in our lunch-packs, and the kittens seemed to enjoy licking out the remains....

I know it's not picture association but those fenneks could fly with those ears!

At the risk of upsetting lots of people and the general cutesy tone of recent postings, I have to warn that such well-posed photos as this can often be fakes. This animal has quite probably been stuffed and fastened to the ground.

I do think so. A fox cub all on its own that stops and stares at the camera?

I hope I haven't given anyone nightmares. Goodnight to you all!

MJ's pic comes from the League Against Cruel Sports website so they're unlikely to have killed a foxcub for the purposes of the picture. They might have found it already dead I suppose.

The fox cub in our garden this evening was all on his own for about 20 minutes and he posed quite a bit! Don't know if he could see us but he came right up to the conservatory and we'd have got excellent pictures if the light had been better - unfortunately it was getting dark by then.

I love these pictures. I love animals. I never saw Fenneks in my life. Their ears are impressive.
I don't know how the animals manage to survive among us, cars, natural disasters etc.
The most amazing thing is that some people are trying to help.

I never saw Fenneks in my life.
That could be because fennecs mainly live in the Sahara Desert and a couple of other parts of Africa.
