Oddly enough, I really fancy a log cabin in the wilderness but the planning laws are not so free as they once were Sad but you can visit, in a motorhome or use an airstream trailer Wink

Still, may canoe down into the wilderness one day and build a cabin with an axe aka grey owl adventures way Smiley

I love this rustic house. I have to say I like conveniences (bathroom, shower etc) which this house may lack. But I like the idea.
THis looks a little too stressful for me. There is no good picture that I can find.

I think that your friend Lord Byron is bitter at the moment. But we are in a happy room and in a beautiful house with no problems.

BTW, do you like my new avatar? It was taken at a beer festival in (IIRC) Minehead (it was kind of combined with a vintage train thingy). We bought our beer and retired to the comfort of train carriages. All rather surreal but absolutely wonderful. Good pies as well!
