Bad luck Bryn!

Anna - yes, weather looks fairly horrid this weekend.  It's a shame I do have to go out tomorrow really.  Still this is the happy thread so I suppose at least i don't have to go to work!!

Well the weather looks pretty dodgy, for sure, but it's amazing the way some people still get on open top buses, come what may. If there are any coach parties from Wales going up to London for a show tomorrow, chances are some will stop off in Windsor on the way back on Sunday and a good few will then pile on for a trip round with me. We'll all have a fun time, and they will remember it for years to come. Some come back year after year and recount the way they got drenched on a previous occasion. This is a whole different ball game from standard stage-service (now officially called "local service") bus driving. I love it.

Interesting that the clichéd view of Ibiza should surface so soon: there's a lot more to it than being the ultimate destination for hedonistic halfwits and a haven for hippies. (Does the Dough strike you as a natural denizen of either department?) There are antiquities, great beaches, secluded places and excellent food to be had, decent walking, too: I'm not suggesting that I'd go there often (there's far too much of the world left to see), but it's certainly worth a visit.
Hedonists aren't always half-witted, Ron! Wink

Nor are half-wits always hedonistic, tinners.

Though it strikes me that many of those who go to Ibiza might be both

It's the same place in Ibiza, t-p, seen from the other side.

Here's a close-up of a roof from the top:

I don't know how people can build such a beautiful things now. It does look like something that was not built long time ago.
Colours and materials are so beautiful.

Say, MB oldies: what does 'cotitsalv' mean?

I suggested it as an abbreviation for "click on the image to see a larger version" ages ago but it never took off. Then Ollie used it the other day for one of his pix so I thought I'd give it another go.

Ah, just saw this. Andy, I've been using it ever since you suggested it! Especially given Tommo's alternative definition... Cheesy

Precisely Ollie. Cheesy

Actually, looking back, it was you who suggested the abbreviation as I'd been posting the full thing.

I was feeling very grumpy and miserable earlier on but I had a nice chat on the phone with a friend who was also feeling down and that's cheered me up a lot. Added to that I've got Jimi Hendrix's live version of Red House on now which is guaranteed to make me feel happy.

Andy, I just read that as:

'I was feeling very grumpy and miserable earlier on but I had a nice chat on the phone with Jimi Hendrix.' Shocked
