GOSH! Thank you for the welcome back. Family stuff kept me away and out of internet contact for a while. And 'gosh' again: you've all been fantastically busy on the snatch front since I last logged in! I've obviously got a lot of catching up to do there.

And, yes indeed, a very happy St David's Day to all.

However, I basically object to a day when it's compulsory to be Nice to someone, same as I object to compulsory romance on Valentine's Day. Should be nice all the time! It's the lack of spontaneity that gets to me.

Quite agree Mary. I'll probably phone my mother tomorrow but only because I haven't rung her for a while. Also I didn't get any proposals yesterday Cheesy

Ollie, are you really on 4568 posts? Shocked I seem to spend far too much time on here and I'm only on 1700 and something.

Not to foot too pine a point on it...

Andy, it's not so much that I spend a lot of time here, more that I don't seem to know when to shut up.  Roll Eyes

Goodness. I really am rather overwhelmed by all these very kind welcomes back. I'm more a "sidling in quietly at the back and hoping no one will notice" sort of person but thank you all very much. In the words of Birthday Boy Martle earlier today, you're a fab bunch. Any more welcomes and my embarrassed blushes will become even more dangerously beetroot-like and a possible health hazard. But it's really appreciated.

Only because I noticed a couple of comments on another thread, I'm fine by the way. But there were two members of the family who were having a rough time health-wise, hence my absence. And I'd also just like to add that something Mary said on one of the 'Regrets' threads stayed with me and helped me to behave, I hope, more patiently than I might otherwise have done, so thank you Mary.

That's all! Kiss  Now back to Martle's party ...

If today is a holiday, does that mean I don't have to post anything?
