OH JOY!!  Bloomin' great utterly unbounded, unfettered, totally dancing-in-the-streets, hysterical laughing JOY!!!

My new sound system arrived this afternoon! I have hooked it up and it sounds abso-bluddy-lutely FANTASTIC!  After having been almost musicless for far too long due to the death of my CD player and a touch of poverty, I am now so delighted I am practically levitating Grin  It was a close run thing but Handel finally pipped Haydn to the post when it came to christening the system.

I am now surrounded by the utter chaos of furniture that had to be moved and towers of books that will have to find a new homes, but what the hell?! I have my music back!

Ahem. Forgive my unbridled excitement but

YAHOOOOOO! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!

Intriguing, bbm.  It's a sad fact of human nature that we seldom appreciate what others have to offer - in any aspect, professional or personal - until we're faced with the possibility of losing it.

Mort, does that Op.3 recording use oboe or flute in concerto no.3?

Ah nice, I prefer it with flute - seems more suitable.  Some groups stick to oboe (probably so they don't have to pay an additional player...)

Hmm, just noticed I'm in the Happy Room.  Not sure if I belong here.  Is there an Apprehensive Room?  Or a Procrastinating Room?

BBM, it rather depends on whether you still want to remain there, bearing in mind that you have now been given the firm offer of a post elsewhere.  I got the impression that you weren't very happy being in your current post. Bank work can be a bit erratic, although it could be useful to top up a regular salary. Healthcare is a bit of a jungle Sad
