Not long till me and MrsBBM go on holiday. Or have our holiday, as we are not going anywhere as such. We have a lot to do back here in Ol'Blighty, unfortunately. This week and next and then holiday and my new job!

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Before getting back to work I shall drop in on this Room since I have just OK'd the final mixing adjustments to the upcoming CD recording of my piece DARK MATTER (which were carried out in Melbourne yesterday). The recordings were made in a series of performances in 2005, so this has been a long and tortuous process (but then it's a long and tortuous piece of music).

Who's releasing it and when can I buy one!

These things must remain shrouded in mystery for the time being, but rest assured that r3ok members will be among the first to know (and will probably account for about 75% of sales  Embarrassed ).

Good news, especially as the various CD-Rs I have acquired from various sources of your work seem all to be starting to deterioriate.  Sad

Now, being of the turn of mind of which I am being, I read the word 'brass' without its final 's', and that gives an entirely different meaning...
Sorry. OW! Who was that? Yes, you! You with the tomatoes trying to slink innocently off! Come back here!

Oh, I missed the boat a bit, but warmest congratulations to A&Baz (and also, to a lesser extent, to RB what with this recording project of his wrapping up.  Indeed I will purchase a copy).

Also: I have become a true afficianado of the staple-remover: I cursed loudly all of friday, wrestling with it, but now I find it to be amongst the most virtuous of all possible activities.  Also did some secretarial work this morning (I managed to loose a couple of calls in the switchboard): not fun at first, but not bad, and I was doing it because someone didn't show up and there was noone else, so.

And, I came across some tickets bought by my uncles.  Funny, that was (the stumbling across of these names & addresses what I recognised amongst so many others).
