Thanks, Anty. Gosh, that's fun! A, welcome back! But never mind all them churches. How was the FOOD?? The food was great - BUT, if you go to the Latin Quarter you must wear a 'hard helmet' to cope with those aggressive bouncers stationed at each restaurant door ready physically to bounce you inside as you pass by (i.e. before any of the others does so first). The food was great Baz Baz, given the fact that certain of our Members, very occasionally, well, hardly ever really (cough), exhibit voyeuristic tendencies of a culinary nature .... we need details, Baz, details! Great, glorious, descriptions of hedonistic, orgasmically wonderful food that will have us weeping into our baked potatoes avec low-fat creme fraiche. Ahem. As you were. Pass the Liver Salts

Well Mort... don't try to eat well in Paris if you are veggie. All seems pretty good so long as you like pork, lamb, veal, oysters, beef, salmon, duck, rabbit.... did I mention chicken?
They are about 30 years behind England.. veggie is an omelette or... as in one Moroccan restaurant that we were physically pulled into... a pretty good bowl of vegetables... a pity really as one of us is a meat eater ( who likes veggie food) and the other is a veggie who really cannot eat anything that has had an independent life.. it did make it tricky!!

Sorrry Baz, have to disagree with you. We are foodies, we like to know. If you thought French Food was carp, well, that is OK. But we did expect some receipts of marvellous things you had ingested. Guess some of us treat food more seriously than others Anyway, Dr Who in twenty minutes!

OK, I shall put my point here more clearly. I ate 2 bowls of vegetables and Indian meal and a pizza. I am not certain that food needs to be taken much more seriously than that !! The company of a fine feller was all I needed!

Ho dear "A" and "B". Delighted to learn that Paris was wonderful and that you are both back safe and well. I am, I confess, just a little disturbed at the vague suggestion that Baz could, conceivably, be a "gastronomic" table "prostitute". Hopefully, now he is home, all will be well. Possibly distant memories of pink suits still linger - eh?
Cheers to both of you S'wave

Are you suggesting that 'pink suits' have not been normal for me? I think you will have to be referred to Anna (she'll tell you all - as well as everyone else!). Baz
