I was fairly happy yesterday, watching Swan Lake in Manchester. Not today though.

Are you feeling any better?

Well, I'm happy at the moment - day off, the sun is shining, the blossom and the bumble bees are out in the garden, and I'm busy advance cooking for weekend visitors ... to the accompaniment of Monteverdi.   Grin

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)

Not exactly a day off, but I've just taken a leisurely break to have a 10 minute stroll along the front. It really is gorgeous here on the south coast today, yes! Glistening sea, a few boats out, balmy breeze. It's Spring!!  Smiley Smiley

The FF head office has been pretty interesting this week, what with Bertie announcing the date of his resignation all of a sudden yesterday.  Lots of gossip, lots of fun.  (And my work, the work what I'm doing myself there, it's going okay, and not frustrating me too much: I almost have a system now Smiley  ).
