I want that kitten!
(Not really, but it is gorgeous.)
Those eyes! They're such a deep blue. He's called "Brembo". I don't know why but there it is!

Highly recommended for anyone with young children/grandchildren is the South Lakes Wild Animal Park. Mine went on a day trip there today with school and seems to have had a brilliant time. The highlight for him was settling down to eat the picnic lunch I packed for him and a lemur racing up and stealing his banana out of the box, then running up a tree with it. He thought that was hilarious. (Yes Mary, he has inherited my peculiar sense of humour ).

This may well be that self-same lemur, Mills, snapped attempting to thieve from an infant there a couple of years ago....

Yeah I know, and what does Shearer do when he scores a goal, he runs around with one front paw in the air Yes indeed John W!! I like that!! Good to see, MJ, your kids got a good sense of humour!! Hope he retains it for the rest of his life!! He be needing it, yeah?? Took my wife to the Isle of Wight, for her birthday treat yesterday, as that what she wanted to do/ Lovely day out. Apart from the time at the Zoo, where they have a wonderful collection of big cats,(which my 3rd cousin George Cansdale founded, who was also the animal in the Blue Peter Show, in the early days of the programme). I found I took my mate's coat with me and I had a rather thin fleece to keep me warm!! Not! A rather strong easterly wind was prevalent and you should've seen the sea, my goodness it looked rough!! Wish i knew how to upload pictures to this site!! Stiil we had a really good time yesterday.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

3rd cousin of Petra. We are not worthy! Yes, well, I forgot to say."The animal man", or the person who always came on and presented the animal issues, etc.

Just got back from the second walk. It took me an hour first time and 40 minutes second time. Had I been on my own I could have done it in a lot less time but better than nothing anyway. I'm quite proud of myself actually because it's very cold and it was spitting with rain most of the way - not enough to soak anybody but unpleasant anyway. Better get this straight, windswept hair of mine curled and respectable for this evening.

Yes, well, I forgot to say."The animal man", or the person who always came on and presented the animal issues, etc. Sorry bbm, of course we knew what you meant! I do remember him appearing on the programme.
