Me too! Me too (if I can seventhed my own card) "Work of genius if you ask me" stuttered Stoat shrilly, "He got that old Badger off to a T" "Whaddya mean, off to a tea?" enquired a young dormouse "Is Badger going off to tea, who's he going to tea wiv and is he taking all that cake wot nice Mr. IGI baked wiv 'im? He's portly enough as it is" "Ere, snot fair" cried a tearful hedgehog "We fort all us animals was going to have a taste of that there cake and greedy Badger is going to 'ave it all!" Suddenly Badger appeared, wiped his paws on his grubby green waistcoat, adjusted his pince-nez, gave the animals a very stern look and announced: "No-one is going anywhere - now get a plate and form an orderly queue for cake" "Hurrah!!" Cheered the animals. "Good ol' Badge!!!"

I'm glad you all enjoyed Badger and co's early morning appearance! I've been into town this morning, dodging the showers, and, after purchasing the Proms booklet (I like to have it on paper to browse through lovingly), bought five of those plastic, foldaway, stackable storage boxes. "The time has come," warned Badger sternly, polishing his pince-nez with a green cotton handkerchief, "to tidy up those piles of CDs littering the stairs and bedroom and create some sense of order...even if it's not there, really." "Whatever you say, Badge," sniffed Stoat, nervously eyeing the pile of opera recordings towering over him ominously....

IGI, may I be the first to say how much I enjoyed your Birthday Badger post, as nobody else seems to have mentioned it ( ). What other talents do you have lurking underneath that red cassock?

"Can we 'ave this Massenet then? Cleopatre? Works a treat I find. Particularly Je verse la poison, that really presses my buttons" "Ere IGI, did you know Eruanto first posted that photo of me?" enquired Stoat? "But I have to go now to pim derks' offering of Baltimore before we get stuck in, Fred Astaire it is, look you, magic! "

I'd love to be going to ballet instead of football! CONGRATULATIONS!
Well, Milly, since our daughter's partner IS a professional footballer, and the families are footall mad, it might be a hard job. I'd love to take a grand-daughter to the ballet (especially since our daughter never got into any sort of dancing except Beyonce). Thank you for your good wishes Exciting times ahead. John W
