I'm cautiously optimistically happy that we will exchange contracts and complete on Tuesday then I will move on Wednesday.

That sounds good, MabelJane. We've got the whole R3OK membership willing it on to happen and that's an awesome benevolent force that hasn't been beaten yet. Everything crossed.

Mrs P is very worried her piano will end up going to the tip! Shocked  What do you suggest I do?

As I read your post, I think you've sort of decided already? I'd go with that  Smiley.

I think you're right, George - typing all that out has helped me to make up my mind. Smiley The piano might have to sit in the front garden Tuesday night but we could wrap it up in blankets and duvets and plastic sheets - and perhaps lay a protective ring of salt or coppertape around it to stop any snails or slugs having a nibble - our monsters will have a go at anything!

Well done bbm. Kiss

I suppose my dilemma wasn't whether or not to take the piano but which one to keep for myself. I feel rather disloyal but the unchipped keys are very tempting so I'm having the freecycle piano - I think! Smiley

Looks like a good choice to me. Go for it if you think it is better.

Happy me....had a great bike ride today, my first for ages.

When I used to bike to work I would go in almost any weather, but now I'm retired, and mainly cycle for pleasure, I prefer it to be dry and not too windy.

NB We had a dry day today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Though it's raining now, of course.(Since 6pm)

Happy, Happy day !!!!

JEG's prom this evening!

Wish I was there in person, however, I'll be all cosy on the sofa with BBC4, stereo sound, my man & one of my best friends, beer and some Indian food!

OOOOH ! Padmore, Bach, Gardiner    LOVELY!
