thats the trouble with us tuba players. We do seem rather obstrusive!!

Some more than others.
.

It must be very difficult to blow hard into the mouth piece.

I believe people have what are called lessons in order to overcome difficulties in playing instruments, in between which they practise.

I was fighting headache today. I got hit by a bus last nigh, who knows why.
Therefore, today's learning is a specially slow and difficult.

That incident doesn't help my spelling and my humour is gone for the time being.

That particular subcontrabass was built to Gerard Hoffnung's specifications in the mid-1950s and I believe that's him playing it. Here's another one:

That looks like Rolf Harris standing next to it but I don't think it is.

I don't think I will get better soon, bbm.

There are people out there who will make sure I will not. There is some sort of a pleasure to kick someone who is struggling or weaker.

poor t-p, why did you not mention it when you were on the MBs at six o'clock this morning?

In fact you said "I did not have much sleep tonight.  My friend (who is a doctor) told me yesterday that I need less sleep now because I am older."

No bus was mentioned by your Doctor

In my country people who report other people to the mods are called grass.

In my understanding one doesn't betray another person.

I think that eventually there is a limit to what people are going to believe.

YOu were always one of the gang, anyway.

Now you all can talk about whatever you like without my contribution.
It was obviously not interesting and not valuable.

Cue for crowd reaction....of COURSE you are interesting and valuable.

Thing is, t-p, it's all a little bit far-fetched I'm afraid?  Hit by a bus?  Drinking and driving.  You said you were drinking and driving and now you were hit by a bus.   Huh

I think it's worth mentioning at this point that the Mods have not received any 'reports' from Members about Members recently or even today. Certainly there has been nothing connected to you, tp, if that is the impression you are under. People are replying to the tp that presents here, as they would to any other poster that chooses to present their views and personality.
