What a coincidence, BBM, my car passed its MOT on Wednesday.....it's P reg Honda Civic with 102k on the milometer. It's never failed yet ! It's only worth peanuts now, so I'm relieved it doesn't need £££ work done, or I might have had to give it up.
PHEW! It is such a relief, isn't it?

I'm not happy, but I'm happier than I was yesterday. No particular reason for either.

I'm happy too - I intend to sort out some shells today and play the piano.  I'm also warmer, which helps!

The sun is shining once more (well, it is if you go far enough out). We have the van back once more, with snow tires. And it didn't cost the GNP of a Banana Republic.

Best of luck with that BBM. Fingers crossed.  Smiley

Here we are at Halloween!  Shocked  The child is out all afternoon with a friend so I'm doing a surprise tea for him for when he comes home.  I've got two pumpkin candles and some decorations and I've bought myself a witches' hat.  It'll be spooky but nice!  I've been invited out for tea and then Bridge so my son is coming here straight from work and staying overnight to look after him.

We're at the hospital this morning with the teenager but it is the last appointment with the consultant which will hopefully get him signed off.  He's recovered well.

Good luck with that Milly.

I am not sure what the situation is round here regarding Halloween. My wife is actually a White Witch, although she doesnt practise; she has that special gift, you know what I mean.

Hope we dont get too many door knocking tonight. We are prepared!

In a bookshop yesterday a small boy broke away from his parents and came up to me and asked in a worried voice, "What happens at Hallowe'en?"  Cry
