I don't know why there is no reply here. It doesn't look right.
And all that talk about Convent Girl English. They call it Lit syllabus with a wink. That doesn't make much sense. What do I know about Convent schools? We had no convent schools. All schools were mixed. There were boys and girls together. Even boys did not use much of unappropriate language. The most we would say would be Dura (stress u) which means stupid. I don't remember anything stronger than that.

There were no nuns where I come from. The first nun I saw was in Vienna after we just left. I remember thinking: "Here goes a nun and I am not in the movie." There was no nuns, no religious education, nothing at all. There was a lot of Marxist philosopy (interpreted by Lenin). But who read either of them? There was Scientific communism, girls were not allowed to wear trouses and we had a lot of equality. We were much ahead of the Western world. My mother was one of the first women who to wear trouses. (I myself much prefer a dress). I remember she was thrown from the Restaurant (or not even allowed to come) because of the trowses.
I am missing a lot in terms of my education in this matters. Perhaps I can learn something? Are there any idioms? in this Convent Literary Language?

Many of us are up. Still, it's Friday night. Tomorrow may be different. But probably not in a convent.

Thank you, Mr hh. Now I understand more. In my time one did not use these words even if one knew them perfectly. After all how can you escape knowing them. There were alway places where they sold beer and vodka and other things like that. Even if one tried to run by these places as fast as one could it was not possible not to hear the language. It was much more preferable to pretend one did not hear anything at all. As about nuns (or nons as they were known among our people) I did not see the second one until we came to the present country. There were not too many nuns in CA, at least I did not see any.
I am talking so much about myself, hh. Can you tell something about you? Or may be your friends want to say something?

What words must we escape from knowing even if we are knowing them. I do not see them here. Maybe Christopher Robin could explain them.
