Good advice from Morticia, Eucaliptus vapors are very good.
I like chicken soup with small noodles, not those on the picture, but they are good too.
Are those good?

Amoxycillin is the only thing that shifts my sinus infections.  Any other preparations seem to make things worse.  (Except of course for the old- fashioned remedy of Friars Balsam mixed with boiling water in a bowl and inhale with a towel over the head.  You can still buy it because I got some for a friend the other day.  It doesn't cure it, but helps you get a night's sleep.)

I don't actually recommend this as a method of treatment, but when I stove in my maxilla in a motorcycle accident, (many years ago), following the reconstructive surgery at Morriston Hospital, Swansea , I had no further annual bouts of sinus trouble. The fistula between the roof of my mouth and my left nostril did prove a bit of a nuisance though. That got sorted a year or so later. Still no further sinus problems to speak of.

Bryn,

King of Understatement! Fistula, left nostril, roof of mouth. Bit of a problem? I bet! Glad normal service has been resumed though.

There`s no blueprint for sorting out sinus infections, more`s the pity. For some people only anti-biotics will do the trick, other people may do fine with over-the-counter nasal sprays (although they tend to sort out the symptom but not address the problem). Whatever you use Aaron, I wish you well. Hey, you could always inhale the steam from the soup!  Grin

A walk might be a good idea [continuing your thoughts from the Happy Room]. I am a great believer in the beneficial effects of exercise. Remember: layers. Don't get overheated, and don't chill.

Go on the sun if you can. Sun kills all bacterias. Also vapors are good and chicken soup.

Thank you, girls. I'll take the lot: sun, a walk, and the soup!  Kiss

Now FM, 'on topic' is not quite as important on this website as at 'the other place' Haven't you noticed. This is The Coffee Bar - we just chat !!

Flu and colds aren't the same thing, though. So many people are ill at the moment. Not me, yet! I hope you all get better quickly. You have to be ill sometimes so that you appreciate being well Smiley
