I blame it all on plastic bags polluting the environment Actually, I think the plastic bags are actually secondary vectors of infection. The real culprits, and probable source of most of our ills are the huge Engulf-And-Devour supermarkets that kill whole town centres. Besides, I prefer to use plastic bags to clean up the environmental pollution regularly deposited by other members of the household.

I take a 1000mg Vit C soluble tablet in a glass of water every day, plus Boots Chemists A-Z complete vitamins and minerals. Seems to keep a lot of stuff at bay. Also best cure for sinusitus that I know is to breathe cold dry air - either go up the mountains somewhere (Alps are good choice!) OR - breathe in cold air from chest freezer. Really does help... I'm just tired at moment, lots of stress so trying to chill

Nice to find you here, maestrolover. I'm through my ailments now (though I fear an uprising of the ballistic evangelist next door later this evening). There are a baffling posse of people who don't know what stress is (ie they usually gleefully add to it). May hobgoblin and foul fiend be far from your chilling.

I don't know where did you see maestolover, but I am glad you are better marbleflugel. What kind of evangelists are you talking about? Are they trying to convert you to pop music or something?

I am fine (or alternating between despair, feeling grumpy and happy and all at the same time. I find noises from the neighbors very upsetting. I sympathize with you very much. Keep calm inside if you can. We have a detouched house (not semidetouched or a terrace). I am very glad. I curse them the people that are noisy for you. They should be quite now I am sure (Why are they working during Holidays?). I think one can become sick from anger and dissatisfaction so they should be kept at check.

You're very wise t-p. I find one helpful thing is to get out of London-its shocking to realise how unnoisy most of the rest of the country is. It's stopped for now. And there again, some ethnicities just don't do quiet very often. When they do (like that split second before a black gospel choir starts to sing) it can be very special. The thing I really don't like is continuous just-a -bit-too-loud that is attention-seeking, like people with mobiles on a train or lifelong teenagers. Thanks for your sweet support anyway and have nice evening.

There are big differences in culture between different nationalities. Some people like to listen to their music full blast. It also doesnot accure to them that other people don't want to listen what they listen to in all hours of the day.
I had a friend living in London for a while (she is back in USA now). At first she lived in a flat where smells from previous occupants was offensive and discomforting. Then she lived near High Park (speaking corner) when I visited her. However there are so many pluses in living in London. One can live with some inconviniences I suppose. I don't know why there are so many pluses and minuses and this is not better than that often.

You might want to check yourself for any evidence of feathers sprouting Milord - could be avian flu. Sorry. Not being very sympathetic. I hope you are taking proper care of yourself - Lemsip is good but fresh lemonade (along with chewing lemon zest) is better. Put the worries on the back burner, fave music on and relax. Can't rush a virus.

Sounds like a cold. 1000 mgs Vit C every 3 hours should zap it, or at least minimise the symptoms.
