Ha ha - make the hair a bit longer and change the dressing gown to work clothes and that's me.  The nose certainly...  Grin

Hmm, interesting suggestion thanks A but I'm not sure that's safe while driving.  Plus I'd end up with a puddle in the foot-well.  Grin

Aaaaah I am so bloody stupid.  STUPID STUPID STUPID.  Woke up at five owing this morning. Unable to sleep* owing to certain symptoms of something medical I had something prescribed for last year but didn't follow the course of medication all the way through on (and which has, as (I assume) a result of this, not entirely gone away).  Promise yourself, increpare, that you will book yourself another appointment today, however galling it might be to have to go back and admit it.

Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

(I also paid two fines of 18 euro each yesterday for library books/dvds.  Angry  )

(*I did at least get some maths done though, which is something)

It's an all too easy temptation to give in to, taking yourself off the things, so you won't be the first the doc has heard of. Yup, it was unwise, but don't beat yourself up over it.

Good call. It won't take long to get back to where you were. All the best for that.

(Grrr. I've been up since five too. What is it about this morning? Undecided)

I slept until 5.45 this morning. This is something of a record. 4.45 is more usual. It's ANNOYING Angry. Seems to happen particularly at this time of year, but why? It's not really light at 4.45 any more, is it?

You'll soon be sorted out, increpatio. Sensible to go back to the doc.

Depends where you are, Mary. Dawn here was at 4:04 this morning, sunrise at 04:57. Being that much further North, our summer days are quite a bit longer. (BTW I had to check the tables for that one, wasn't awake to see it myself, luckily.)

I've had a cold since Monday but i don't care as i am happy about everything just now!  I'll let it follow its natural course and should be rid of it before too long.

I wake earlier at this time of year than in the middle of winter, it's the light and the warmth I reckon. I have a minidisc player next to the bed so I reach out to put something on - speech not music, such as I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue or the News Quiz - and I usually drop off again. Waking time must depend on when you go to bed too, in my case it's very often after 1am.

I had the opposite problem this morning - I overslept. Big time! Shocked I hadn't realised that I was capable of getting dressed and out of the door so quickly! Cheesy
