Ted is, of course, a stage name.
He's a Harold, but in denial.
Donate now, and you can save him from disgrace.

The surprising success of the first two cantos of Childe Harold on their first appearance in 1812 was in no small measure due to the originality of the design, and to Byron’s extension of the horizon of romance. Before this time, poets had made certain attempts to set forth in verse the experiences of their foreign travels.

I
1     Is thy face like thy mother's, my fair child!
2     Ada! sole daughter of my house and heart?
3     When last I saw thy young blue eyes they smil'd,
4     And then we parted--not as now we part,
              5     But with a hope.--Awaking with a start,
6     The waters heave around me; and on high
7     The winds lift up their voices: I depart,
8     Whither I know not; but the hour's gone by,
9When Albion's lessening shores could grieve or glad mine eye.

II
10     Once more upon the waters! yet once more!
11     And the waves bound beneath me as a steed
12     That knows his rider. Welcome to their roar!
13     Swift be their guidance, wheresoe'er it lead!
14     Though the strain'd mast should quiver as a reed,
15     And the rent canvas fluttering strew the gale,
16     Still must I on; for I am as a weed,
17     Flung from the rock, on Ocean's foam to sail
18Where'er the surge may sweep, the tempest's breath prevail.

BOGOF!!!

Or

There is only room for one Gerald in this house.

I have received a letter from a concerned patriot in Slough, who wishes to know if lady gerbils are also called Harold or Gerald.
WE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
And we would just like to say that the suggestion of sexism is sickening.
Our staff Gerald has just had to leave the room as a result.
She's very sensitive.

For anyone who has lost their gerbil manual, and is temporarily unable to tell a Harold from a Gerald, please refer here. If dizziness and confusion persist, please take the appropriate tablet (turquoise if you are a redhead, cyan for all others, except for those in peril on the sea, in which case the magenta pill should be inserted in the usual place).

Would all Harolds please report to the front desk please?
There has been an incident with Marmite and Gerald is hiding in the air duct until it goes away.
