Anyway, my brother and his family have asked for it so that his girls can try to learn.
I'm sceptical about starting in June... I've always thought that September would be the best time but their mother is quite insistent that they need it now.
Take heart HH. A played piano is a happy piano (even if it does get slightly bent out of tune).

Costa Coffee, Platform 1, Paddington Station.

"Espresso Doppio, to take away please."

"Single or double?"

"er, double.  Doppio means double."

"To have in or to take away?"

Sheesh...

And then I found that M&S didn't have any iced spiced buns.

(But on a happier note, that last bit of typing came out initially as 'iced spiced nuns'!)

John's last photo is not showing up.  Do we have a Nun topic?  How exciting!

I am available for Weddings, Christenings and Bar Mitzvahs.  Juggling with lemons a specialty.  Tangerines are extra as are avocados due their high fat content.

Here are my back up artistes on their break.  What fine Novices they are!

Ah, that's just reminded me of a French pastry called 'religieuse' (nun). It looks like this
Meant to look like a nun. So they say.

Mort, they are also known as Pets de Soeur / Pets de Nonne (or Nun's Farts)

Seeing as they so light.

I'll get me wimple!!

Anna,

It was the Iced Nuns (got a better link there now) and the one before was the Spiced Nuns, though that probably wasn't apparent  Undecided

Can someone modlike get rid of that zero which is appearing between the stars and the gender on each post? Has no-one noticed it or is it too trivial for anyone else to comment on?

The zero was mentioned on the off topic thread yesterday but no explanation or solution was forthcoming.

Sorry guys: there doesn't seem to be anything obvious that I can do to change this. I'm just wondering whether it was triggered when the display was altered recently....
