Era solo un mio sospetto

I got my 2009 diary in an Oxfam shop last month.  And I always end up holding over Christmas cards from one year to the next.  I see nothing wrong in buying them in advance when you see some nice ones, instead of finding tomorrow is the last date for posting and you can only get tacky ones with stage coaches or robins in snowstorms with glitter on them.

It is sending Christmas cards in September which would be objectionable.

But if you do, they might just arrive by a couple of days before Christmas Grin

Me and the Mrs do that after Christmas. Stores have the sales and we keep them for the next year.

I am grumpy for two reasons:
1. I cannot understand instructions for my mobile phone.

2. I will have to make schedule, next year is about to begin and everyone wants convinient time.

I will have to start late this year because of the rehearsals and concerts.

Grrr.  The mention of 2009 diaries has brought on an attack of grumpiness.  I've been looking for one for a couple months now.  Only in the last week or two have I seen any that are not for the 08/09 academic year.  And of those, have I seen a single one that provides equally sized spaces for all seven days of the week?  No.  Do diary makers really think we live in a world where no one does anything on Sundays?

I'll have to wait for a larger selection to emerge.  Meanwhile the pages at the back of my 2008 diary are full of confused scribbles about things through next summer.

Grrr.

All this and more is an easy matter to the owner of a Filofax, of which you have surely heard. I had one for many years before it was gradually made redundant by my carrying a laptop everywhere I go (which of course is a MUCH safer way of storing all that essential information  Roll Eyes ).
