My mild follow-up diary grump is that the 2009 ones have now arrived in the Oxfam shop but they have stopped doing the nice A5 sized ones I have had for years and only have silly little weeny ones. Wazzat all about then?

[Contra-grump footnote: But I found just what I was looking for on a stall in Snorbens Market for £1.25. Diary bliss.]

My grump: I can not get through to the doctor to tell him about allergy reaction. The phone is always busy. I am calling non stop from the very morning.
I think this medical system will kill me before my time. I now can see that medical services as suitable for me as their psychological help..  Cry Cry

There are things that just don't go together because the cultural gap is too big.

I can relate to that t-p, my Dr's has a similar booking system.  If they're fairly close I'd advise just going over there in person.

At least that's giving the p*ss, rather than taking it.

The medical system is really bad here. What we had in Wales was better by at least 10 to 15 times than here. Probably by 20 to 30 times better.
I finally got through to the doctor. He was not even curious to see my alergic reaction, doesn't really care. He agreed to take some more tests done tomorrow. He forgot test and did not even look at results. He is a good doctor, I like him. He is just too busy.
I am too upset to talk.  Sad
I find it difficult to find any medical attention here.
They have Polish surgery here. I was given this information today. I am considering going there instead.

admirably troublesome
What a wonderful phrase! I had to think about it several times before deciding that I like it very much ...

All four categories were defined in law as 'lunatics' and their care entrusted to a statutory body, the Lunatic Commissioners.

Does anyone else here get annoyed when people keep telling them how to do things they already know how to do?

I'm a bit tired today so I might be getting over-sensitive but even so... I'm doing my best to stay diplomatic but the number of times today I've been tempted to reply to e-mails with:

"Yes I KNOW, I'm not some kind of b***** idiot..."
