I googled Sobinov tenor and I found him. I thought nu 2 is Sobinov. I got it from google

Whoops! I also had him from Google where he was identified as the bass Mark Reizen (hence the Boris photo!!) Further searching supports your (and John's) Sobinov claims - apologies!! Photo 3 is definitely who I think he is, however....

No, our baritone was a generation later, becoming La Scala's leading baritone in the 50s, although he only died a couple of years after Basiola, he should have been in the prime of his career then.

No. I think Taddei is still with us and was certainly performing/recording into the 80s. He was a very good Falstaff and his recording of Scarpia opposite Leontyne Price's Tosca for me rivals Gobbi's.

Those would be the famous Singing Weber Brothers, Carl, Maria and Von, whose eccentricities included performing with their backs to the audience and the use of comic props, like telescopes placed on the music stands, which they would react to in diverse hilarious ways, Carl by pretending nothing is amiss, Maria impatiently getting it out of the way, and Von indignantly asking which joker in the audience put them there.
