i'm not sure, to be honest. seems to have transmogrified into a celebration of the art of smoking which, though it may be a serious pastime of many impudent hobbits, i've yet to see the attraction of. erm, depends which side of the rollercoaster i will be hanging off. Oh come on, eru! If that's all that's bothering you, we can all waft it away from you in another direction. Fun it will be!

While hh had interesting plans and various thoughts last night I read it this morning.
Happy Father's day to those who are fathers and Happy Father's day for those who have to come up with good present.
It is always difficult to buy a good present. One has to take into consideration so many things. I wish you find presents easily and quickly and after that I wish you will have good time together.

Oh! I felt a sudden twinge of guilt there for something I did many many years back; must be all this talking of sweets what brought it back; my aunt owned a sweet/cigarette/grocery shop. Used to work in it whenever I was down. Anyway, one day these young kids ran in with their parents and went absolutely nuts saying they wanted to get stuff, only the parents were in a rush, so they asked what time I closed at (6 I think, closing for dinner/mass, then opening from 7-8 or 8-9 or something like that) and promised to their kids they'd make it back in time.
Anyway, come half five, my aunt tells me I can close up early if I want, because it's been pretty quiet. So I decided at a quarter to to close up, and just as I'm locking the door I see these parents with their kids just getting out of their parked car across the road, and when the kids see me closing the door they start bawling all over the place. I paid no active heed and walked off.

t-p, I just saw the photo of Mexico City that you posted - sorry I didn't see it before ... Here's time_is_now (if you can spot him!) at a Mexican wedding party:

OK, here's a couple more: That's in Coyoacán, the historic district of Mexico City. And that's in an expensive bar in Acapulco. I'm on the right, wearing a white shirt to show off my "tan" (?!). t-p, yes, I did have a haircut. I didn't realise it was so much shorter than before, but Ian nearly didn't recognise me at Richard and ollie's concert on Saturday so maybe I really do look different!

I didn't notice any hair change, but the shorts were pretty striking.

I love the pictures. Peole are so handsome and t_i-n has a nice tan. I love pictures like that. Now you soaked so much sun that you can take all kind of weather next winter (which is far away still and we all will soak a lot of sun I hope).
