Must be all those photos...
Looks like it's a regular 15 posts per page, regardless how much content, or lack thereof, each post contains... nevertheless, it is a testament to something or other, isn't it?

Ouch! No use to Ollie that one, I'm afraid. Except perhaps for a theatre piece in which he turns all red and swollen and wheezes at people...

There`s probably a response somewhere involving the word `nuts`, Mart, but I can`t  (and probably shouldn`t) dredge one up at the moment! Grin

Yes, indeed. Pecans!

Long live pecans.  But...not currants...they can go wait in the corner think about what they've done.

We have record crowds and as far as I am concerned it is time to stay home.
Anybody wants to visit us?
This is a highlight of the year - races.

The Taoiseach is here. In case you don't know who he is I want to post him.

Finally we are the center of attention.

I didn't know who he was, and my Irish is non-existent in spite of the fact that, like almost everyone I know, I have Irish forebears.

(Irish for Bears came into my head after that last sentence Smiley)

Taoiseach - I wonder how that's pronounced? I googled it and found it it's the Irish for Prime Minister.

I believe the pron. is more or less teach-och

And what's all this about four bears? I thought there were three...

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

More of an sh than ch in the middle, though, Kitty, and the stress on the first syllable...

I posted this link a couple of days ago after Ollie was asking how to pronounce the name of the Irish horn player at the Proms; it's not a bad place to start...

Traffic horrendous in Millyland today.  We've had two straight days of heatwave now and the holidaymakers have landed on us in droves.  I think they're making up for lost time!  Apparently August is going to be the summer we should have been having up to now.  Goody!  Cheesy
