Is there any way of getting some use out of 1 and 2 p's? I'm about to overflow with them! You should have given them to Promenaders' Musical Charities whilst you had the chance.

hh, yes, probably. It's not a smooth curve upwards towards total recovery. It goes in fits and starts. The thing to hang on to is that, on average, the less-lows gradually begin to outweigh the lows proper. Been there, sympathise, and as the old cliche goes, fill your life with other things - like work, or friends, or massageboards messageboards.

Well, in case anyone's missed me ... ... I am back. I have been away for a week to Wales playing my violin in chamber music and came back with such a tired shoulder... must do more practice!! Lovely weather there most of the time and I paddled in the sea a couple of times.. lovely! Off on holiday again at the weekend , this time with 'him' so it will be lovely!! Feeling pleased with myself too as I have got round to going to the dentist at last.. I had neglected my poor old fangs of late so am glad I have started to get a couple of problems fixed. Hope all are well, I haven't really got time to trawl back over about 10 days' messages, but I gather you are not well Milly... hope you feel better soon. A

Ho A! I've just been skimming the boards lately which means that I may not always notice when you're not around, but it's always good to read your posts! Good to hear about the dentist - I should go myself soon... I've been waiting for job things to sort themselves out but I suppose there's always something else which comes along and takes precedence. Have a nice weekend with 'him'.
I don't think I'm quite ready for reality yet.

Thanks tommo... the chamber music was good... usual repertoire of Mozart/Haydn/Beethoven/Brahms with the occasional Coleridge Taylor quartet sort of thing thrown in! I enjoyed playing the Mozart string quintets as it isn't often that you have lots of viola players around!!
Lovely venue , near the beach and completely isolated.. no mobile signal so lots of leaning over gate in an attempt to find one!
Just been told though that it won't go ahead next year, the owner wants to refurbish etc and change the style of the house.. pity... ah well, all good things come to an end !
How are you?

Hi A, good to hear from you. It sounds like you had lovely time. I love chamber music.
May be some other thing will come next year if this will not go ahead.
I loved Wales very much.

I'm well thanks, A. Playing is good - I'm learning the piano trio version of Verklarte Nacht at the mo and it's going well. Work is OK - just at a climate change conference today, which is giving me all sorts of ideas.

BobbyZ,
A bit too early to say. Need to see how rehearsals go.

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.
