Nice of you to ask.
I'm feeling much better, but still a little lost. It's funny how these things take you by surprise.
Time for lunch.

Hope it's a tasty one!

I'm off too, lunch and this first episode of the new season of Heroes....

Good grief, incre ! I just visited the site and checked out the harmonica sound. Cue wild eyed stare, flattened ears and one cat racing out of the room as though pursued by the Hounds of Hell. Most impressive Grin

Hmm.  I google on the internet:

Quote
Now I have another question I would like to impose on you. It regards cats and music. I play harmonica (not very well). When I practice, my cat goes crazy and she won't leave me alone. I can't tell if she likes the sound or doesn't like the sound. She doesn't run away like she does when I use the vacuum. The sound rather attracts her but she meows loudly and bites my hands while I am playing. Another time she started eating my hair while I was playing. If I leave her in another room, she meows and tries to get into the room where I'm playing.

I've stopped playing harmonica because I feel it upsets her. [...]

I can't say I agree with the advice at all, that I would stop tormenting my cat so.

Interesting. One of our dogs used to sing along when I started playing. Not always conducive to good practicing.

How are they to learn anything unless they practice?

Just hit some kind of wall. I was trying to sort out the sketches in my cupboard (it's got a bit drastic recently with all sorts of stuff being thrown in, all sorts of slippage occuring - and there are projects that I want to finish in there!) and I've suddenly come over all warm and unnecessary so I think it's time for bed.
Night all.

Yes, indeed.  I will say that it was so-so, except at one point where, in a fit of internationalism, they included a scene set in Cork.  OH MY.  I haven't laughed so much in some time.

Thanks increpatio, I shall be watching it myself tomorrow.  It seems like a long time since the end of series 1.

A question: why do all the sci-fi / fantasy programmes restart at the same time?  I've had about 3 months of watching stuff I've borrowed from others and now everything is back on again  Roll Eyes

Indeed.  I only got into the series right at the very end of the easter break that other people found rather irritating.  I think they're going to fill in the gap this year with a miniseries, however.  If watching it wasn't a social occupation, then I'd just wait until June and watch the entire series.

Doesn't *everything* start back now?

I only follow desperate housewives and heroes, so I don't know about other things, so.

You should try an oboe, Mort. My cat hates the thing, and is out of the room before I've even got its case open.

Now, if they did one of those PawSense things for kitchen surfaces, rugs, clothes, paperwork, editorial proofs, clean bedsheets, anything I might be trying to sit on/read/eat/drink/ at the time ... then we'd be talking!
