Ballet dancers are usually full of arthritis in their twenties. It's one of the prices you pay for having a life I suppose. For everything there is a price I find.
Mary, you don't go clubbing to talk.
Not a good idea at all. You go for that raw bass rhythm that resonates with your ribs, spine and hips that excites, exhilarates and makes you want to move. Well that's why I've always been. I did actually meet my husband in a disco, but after we'd danced all night we went elsewhere to talk.
We still went to clubs when I was expecting my first and I'm sure that's why he likes dancing as well. He was doing it before he was born. That bass would definitely have reached him!
There wasn't the same opportunity with the second child because of the scarcity of babysitters and he isn't nearly as keen on dancing, although he will go. I wonder if any scientific studies have been done on this subject?
I also subjected my unborn to lots of classical music as well and as Mozart is my favourite, the "Mozart Effect" should have kicked in. It didn't - but my grandsons both love it, so maybe it misses a generation.
