Yes, but I am not qualified. I never played in an orchestra before.
Our conductor is mezzo soprano (and pianist), not trained conductor.

May be hh ensemble is much better organized and prepared.

It could be if enough members are up for it. Shall we take a pole?

I think you mean 'Professor', don't you?

Professor, Dr Dr BBM,

I am glad that you will have a day off. It looked to me from where I am that you were working a lot.

As for me, I don't use the word half even if they kill me. I did get the message (in the middle of the way after the beginning of that remarkable conversation).

It was funny though, I have to admit.

I notice that three members of the Berliner Philharmoniker have Prof. in front of their names in the programme.

Mr. BBM,
Is it correct to say: If I remember rightly? I think grammatically it is correct, but everyone says: If I remember right?
Is it so?

It wasn't the fact that there were professors in the orchestra that surprised me - it was the fact that their titles were in the programme.

My German teacher (who was Viennese, not German) always insisted we used her title. Every morning we said, "Guten Morgen, Frau Doktor".
