Rubles,

Can you teach is the words?  I get as far as "run run run" (but isn't there something later about "with his gun"?)

On the farm, Ev'ry Friday
On the farm, It's rabbit pie day
So ev'ry Friday, that ever comes along
I get up early,And sing this little song...

Refrain 1
Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run
Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run
Bang, bang, bang, bang! goes the farmer's gun
Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run

refrain 2
Run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run
Don't give the farmer his fun, fun,fun
He'll get by without his rabbit pie
So run, rabbit, run, rabbit, run, run, run

Verse 2
On the farm,No poor rabbit
Comes to harm, Because I grab it
They jump and frolic, Whenever I go by
They know I help 'em, To dodge the rabbit pie!

(then sing refrain twice more)

Funny what the brain can hold on to for years without realising it!

We joined Lovefilm and watched "There's a Girl in my Soup" the other day - I loved it when I was a young thing, Goldie Hawn & Peter Sellers were so funny - and I could remember all sorts of lines from it, even though it must be about 30 yrs since I last saw it!

Wish I could remember where I left my specs.....

I hope to be gong to play with B&HCB next Monday now. I had a brain wave. As one of the players lives not too far away from me, maybe i thought he wouldnt mind giving me a lift to  band! So I managed to get hold of his number, from the MD, and he agreed. So all is ok.

I didn't know where to post this, but I just received a warning via email so thought I'd pass it on to you in case.

Subject: Warning re dodgy "unable to leave your parcel" card
EMAIL FOR INFO

Can you circulate this around especially as  Christmas is fast approaching :-

It has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:

A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize.

If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call.

Fortunately that's an old(ish) one, Milly:

Still, it's always worth checking out such phone numbers before dialling them (for example if you have a missed call on the mobile and you're wondering whether to call the person back) and the all-knowing Inter-Net™is a good place to do it.

Thanks Milly.  Cheesy  I'm afraid I only knew the chorus. It was just the long period of silence during the third line followed by a sudden "Ra-bbit" from both parties that made me laugh.

Indeed Rubes. It sounds very, very silly. Well, it did yesterday when I tried it out. I was alone at the time  Embarrassed Cheesy

...on a Mac it's most easily obtained from the Character Palette I think. (Click on the flag top right, then Show Character Palette, then it's under Miscellaneous.) Or if you have a really good memory you can get it with alt-something. «∑€®†Ω¨⁄ø𕱑æœ@∆ºª©ƒ∂‚å¥≈ç√∫~µ∞…–»„‰¸˝ˇÁÛØ∏°’ÆŒflˆıÓÌÏ™™

Ah, alt-shift-d.

Apparently there's been an unprecedented reaction to Ross and Brand and there are now calls for them both to be sacked.  That would be a satisfactory outcome. Jonathan Ross has earned an obscene amount of money under false pretences for far too long IMHO.
