CD, Many moons ago on the Beeb R3 board some of the residents got rather testy about the fact that threads often meandered and, the horror!, some of the posters actually started talking among themselves about matters other than music  Tsk tsk. `A` had the bright idea of having a Waffle thread where people could just, er, waffle. I think the first thread reached 10,000 posts before it had to be closed, but it`s had many incarnations since then and a great deal of fun has been had by all. It`s a bit quieter now than it used to be, no more film scripts, duck squadrons or camels. Not a lot of Marmite either. Sigh. But if you ever feel the need to waffle CD, this is the place to come! |
