Watermelon always seems to stay cool inside, even when the weather is hot. I love all fruit.

It's not particularly hot here - not much sun, but still dry.

Damp dark and miserable up here.
I'm not though  Grin
Just been testing the electronics for one of my portfolio pieces by passing all sorts of things through it (the Mika album, Jesus' Blood, Evryali, etc.) and now I'm having real issues listening to 'normal music' a bit like Data listening to six pieces of music simultaneously...

PS The electronics work!  Cool  Shocked

Night, A. And all wafflers. I think we waffle on many boards now, not just the one, as in the days of old. So the lack of presence here is understandable, really. Even so,

Savouries, anyone?

Something involving anchovies? That covers a multitude of sins and wickedness.
I'm listening to a bit of the Tom Waits rendition of Bryar's Jesus Blood and I'm thinking WHY WHY WHY?
I will sit through the lot tomorrow but I have a feeling I'm not going to be happy...

Very quiet on the board tonight.

Good morning.
We have a lovely morning and a hot day ahead by the look of it.
I can not waffle at night. I am a morning person. TP is leaving for work in the morning and I have to be ready.
May be I could adjust to being a night person, but I have been a morning person all my life.
That makes it incompatible with being musician. But I am a teacher and teachers can be morning people.

Tothe  night people I wish happy waffling and good night sleep.

The difference is t-p that teachers HAVE to be morning people. When I taught full time I had to be at school and working by 8.15, so I had to get up early to sort out my own children and get to work... I was still a night person so went to bed late too!

BUT NOW .... I am retired (Yippee) and I can be the night person I always was and get up just when I want . Usually about an an hour and a half later than during those teaching years.!!

Good morning to you anyway t-p. It's a bit dreary at the moment in SELondon, 'someone' said it doesn't rain in SELondon...... well.... I rest my case!!!

Last years there were good summers in London and it had been hot (according to sky news weather).
Good weather will come may be from the West (as it often does).
Get ready for a swim suit.

It is good to retire early. You did so much and taught good students (and bad), plus raised your family. I had to play for ballet first class at 7.30 in the morning (before fully awake). That was in California and many students took ballet before their other classes.
There was another class at 9 and again at 10.30. At 12 there was a duet class where they teach how to lift or dance with a partner. That was interesting, but by this time I was too tired to enjoy it.

Good morning to you, A and I am sending good weather on its way to London.

I find it very awkward being a morning person but loving the theatre and concerts. When I sang in a choir I found it a real pain having to go out to rehearse or sing when everyone else was coming home, and even now I wish concerts, opera etc. were on in the mornings, or at least the afternoon. (At music festivals they sometimes are. Aldeburgh tends to have concerts all day.) Ballet is sometimes in the afternoons, but opera rarely or never.

I am normally sleepy by about 7 pm. It doesn't fit in with life.
