well it wasn't so much a piece as a splurge, really. give 'em a bit of excitement, methought, before the talking began. improvisation can take many forms but this was out to sea on most of them, i bet.

Was it in modern idiom or was it an old fashion blast from the past?

That sounds interesting. I am sure the congregation loved it. At least it was not boring. Some of them were probably woken up by this. May be it was an expression of happy feelings.

It is still too early for whisky at 7 o'clock in the morning.
Or too late.

I suppose it all depends on how well the work is going.

I am not ready for whysky at 12:46. I don't think I will be ready for whisky anytime today, even if my practice is going well.
How about a glass of red wine (or do you prefer a white wine?).

Good morning everyone.
It is still too early for whisky at 7 o'clock in the morning.
How is Richard's neck? How is Millie resting after her good experience? How did hh go to bed without a whisky? How is A's morning? How is Kitty? How is sw, Morticia?  How are you people?
I feel like rooster who starts the day.
[ snip for readability ]
This is an extraordinary morning. This is a special morning. Today's day is not ordinary because there are no ordinary days. This is a day of our lives and it is going to have many interesting experiences.

What ho chums!

Thank you for asking T-P. As per U. Kitty is up at the crack of half-past one (UK time) having slept late after the dog had to go out at 5.30am (local time) and the back door is now unusable because the bottom of the frame has rotted away completely ... [stumps off to Grumpy room]

KittyBritton,
There is good coming from every bad. Even you have a problem with rotted door you will have a new door some how. You will see that you will.
I had a rotted student and now I am thankful I don't. Better to cut one's loses while it is still in the bud.
May be if you will change the door it will not rot into the wall.

Here is Barna Woods near Silver Strand Beach. It is nice to go for a walk there on a hot day like today.

Where do people go in London? I think they go to city parks.

I'm hoping that the weather holds this week so I can go for a walk after work. There's a car-park on my way home that has a footpath which goes down into a protected area by the river which leads to the local aqueduct (and if you walk far enough there are some National Trust woods). I've been scurrying home and trying to get as much work done as possible before my eyes seize up for the last two months, so the prospect of a nice peaceful walk is one of the things that has kept me going.

You are in absolutely perfect spot hh. I remember that river and the dorms and the parking place. We were there aproximately this time of the year several years ago (I think three).
There are so many places there to go for a walk, one can follow the river (What is it called?).
One could even take a boat I suppose.
I hope you see my friend there sometimes. May be he will visit his friend here and then I could have a chat with him.
Best wishes,
tp

It's the river Wear t-p.
I don't know how many weirs there are on the Wear, but that's something which stops a lot of boat traffic.
I'm not sure where our friend is right now. He was over in Ireland until recently so I'm not sure if he's gone back now that all of the exams are over.
But you've given me a good idea. If he's around here, I'll ask him to go on the walk with me.

If he is back to where you are then I missed him here. That is a pity. I always miss him. But may be he have not been here yet. I think our mutual friend would tell me. May be there is going to be a wedding and he will be here, but I don't know exactly when.
I was invited, but then there was no follow up. I am planning to go though, unless they will not contact me.
The baby is a big boy or 10 months and already riding a horse. I have seen pictures on the mobile phone.
You probably have many friends you can go for a walk with. But it is nice to go alone. I love walking alone. It is really nice to think about your own things.
