This is a cross between a bear and a boar. Miiiseriiiii, cried little boar who is some times a bear. This poor animal has one parent who is a bear and another is a boar. But there is no beer or broad in his pedigree.
You should go to sleep - her God mother said. You will not feel good tomorrow.
I know - the little boar answered. I will try mother to calm down really quickly, and I am going to try very hard to be a good girl and go to sleep. Good - her God mother said. Go in peace (that is not piece) and be good.
I will go - said the boar, but I should always remember to take my Spelling with me. She looked for it, put leash on and they went together. It is really wonderful night.

Yes, A, I'm trying to move my head, but my neck has somehow seized up. Probably I should be out in the sun enjoying my last week in Berlin rather than sitting at the computer.

I can't decide whether to pour another whisky and soldier on with the commentary, to the accompaniment of Herr Stockhausen's Hymnen or to creep up to bed and start again tomorrow morning.

Decided against the whisky I'm afraid. I'm just writing up the notes that I've got for my fourth chapter, updating my scores (on the computer) from my proofreading (done this afternoon) tomorrow morning and producing final printouts, then spending the afternoon bashing out the fifth chapter before proofreading that tomorrow evening. I feel quite scared and exhilarated. But also quite tired. Whisky and soldier? is that how it's spelt?
A piece of buttered toast (made with spelt bread) dipped in the whisky? Lovely.

It certainly is too hot to sleep. I also need to get rid of some of this adrenaline. What with one thing or another I've been hyper for weeks. There must be a way of coming down....

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Good morning everyone. It is still too early for whisky at 7 o'clock in the morning. How is Richard's neck? How is Millie resting after her good experience? How did hh go to bed without a whisky? How is A's morning? How is Kitty? How is sw, Morticia? How are you people? I feel like rooster who starts the day. This is an extraordinary morning. This is a special morning. Today's day is not ordinary because there are no ordinary days. This is a day of our lives and it is going to have many interesting experiences.
