Some may be interested in this concert of Dave Smith playing some of his recentish piano pieces. It's at Bauer + Hieber (= Schott's, 48 Great Marlborough Street, London W1) on Tuesday 18th March from 6.30-8.00 and consists of

. . . and with thy daring folly burn the world (2007)

42 1-minute pieces (2005-6)

On the virtues of forests (2004)

probable entry cost of £8/£5

Clearly made up, the pair of them, nobody really has names like that. (This Smith guy is really called Otto, isn't he?)
