I'd be very worried if it wasn't, r: there's something or other on the R3 FM feed that I understand might be worth a listen at some time or other.
martle, it looks as if nobody's used our Photobucket account to post here, which is why you can't see anything new: however, it's up and running still, and the passwords still work: sounds as if you might have a cookies problem.

I keep my desktop pretty minimal and, as one of that small breed of amateur lichenologists, I use one of my best lichen pictures, taken in the West of Scotland:

Of course, there are other operating systems available Ubuntu has a screenshot facility available under Applications (top left) as I've just discovered - it saves the screenshot for you so there's no need to mess around pasting it into anything. You might wonder how the sceenshot includes itself!

Two proofs that our Photobucket is working, marty: both this pic and r's were sourced via it.

I see you've got Google Chrome PW. How does it compare with Firefox? I don't expect Mozilla are very pleased about it as Google used to give them a lot of support which they presumably won't now.

It's very fast, most of the time; except when it freezes, which it does occasionally (it really doesn't like Photobucket, and I've not tried iPlayer yet - but then I can't get iPlayer to work in Firefox). I've had no rendering problems and during the installation it captures all your Firefox bookmarks - which is just as well since adding a new bookmark is one of life's mysteries (I haven't explored the help function yet). The UI is very clean and minimal, which I like but will probably worry some people. I'd rate it about 7/10 at the moment, but with a bit of improvement I think Google could be giving Mozilla a run for their money.

I'm afraid mine is totally boring: I took the capture with Microsoft Office OneNote 2007 and resized it with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. (About 98% of my software tends to be Microsoft, at least at home.) I can't understand how people with desktop photographs can find anything. Doesn't the density of the picture camouflage the icons and text on the screen?

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I nearly gave my boss a heart attack once when I was on a temp assignment. I took a screenshot of the desktop using [print scrn] then turned it upside down and used it as the desktop.
