Agent Gusset had concealed his travel documentation in a letter drop cunningly disguised as a bench, where he secreted said document, folded in a bafflingly intricate fashion , between wooden slats. Sudden the Sleuth, with the help of his bionic eye implants, honed in on this immediately and captured the evidence.

Messageboard Psychology 101: I've noticed this on all the meet-ups I've been to, and I don't think I'm alone. Even though I know (cos they've told me) the real names of people there, I can't help thinking of them as, and addressing them by their board names. Last night, I could only call Mort Mort, and Don Basilio Don. In some cases I've even forgotten the real names...

Absolutely, Ollie. Martle is Martle, tinners is tinners (except when he`s Jack) and Richard Barrett is, ah ... ummm, Richard Barrett. Tcha, there`s always one! When I speak to Milly or Anna I always use their board name and they use mine, even though we know eachothers real names. Best regards Persephone Needleblip-Bumtrinket

I started counting all the empty glasses, but then... ...I realized that this lovely photo-opportunity was captured early on enough to display the pride felt by all for how full their glasses were. Sorry not to be there folks! Baz

Baz The absence of familiar faces was noted Perhaps you can make it to the `pagan` gathering that Tommo suggested? Thing is, there were so many toasts to `absent friends` that we had to keep the glasses constantly topped up. In fact, I doubt that any of us actually drained one to the dregs. Such a trial, I can`t tell you!

we had to keep the glasses constantly topped up. It's a tough job but someone has to do it. In fact that photo was relatively late in the evening. As you can see it was after Ian had turned a table through 90° at great risk to his person. (And to himself. )

I hope everyone appreciates the festive trouble I went to to attach a Christmas star to the top of my hat! Very good to see everyone on Friday, including some new faces.
