One day in the near future (may be less than ten years from now) I hope to join the company. I might have to take police with me for protection, but I do want to see everybody in person.
Have a good time and please take many photos.

I was joking, Antheil. I really wish I could come on one of the meetings. It is not that far, you know. But I can not come now. I will hope for December. I hope Reiner will come too.

Antheil, are your Daily Mail opinions and desperate attempts to become like some stereotypical Welsh person, one which has no basis in reality, meant to be any better?

Could be worse - they could be snobbish aesthetes, whose mentality is not far away from that of the far right. Or part of the God squad?

Whoah, folks. Can we just leave this now, please? I'm getting PM's from other members who are rightly unhappy about the way this is going.
Anty, you've had a traumatic weekend, and it's understandable that you're feeling frayed, but you've made your point re your impatience with t-p just about within the bounds of the rules. Now there's a danger that things will descend to name-calling and fault-finding, with others joining in: if you really want to do that, perhaps you could find somewhere else to indulge(such as TOP). Please remember that these spats affect the rest of the board for days.
Thank you.

Yes, whoah, please. I went away for an hour or so and came back to this. Aside from anything else the 'Meet Up' thread is hardly the place to exchange insults. The Mods have received complaints about the rather personal nature of some of the posts here. We can all get irritated by eachother now and again but, please, can we call a halt to name calling before things turn nasty? Please. We've had more than enough of that in the past.

Maybe we should move the meet-up to a mud-wrestling venue.
