Doesn't this poll open up the rather Channel 4-ish prospect of the great mass of members who will be absent tomorrow being allowed to determine the nut-eating choices of the housemates attendees?

Now I know martle's bringing his nuts [heh hem] I'm really sorry I can't come . ...only it's Mahler 1 tomorrow night, see... plus I'm checking into a twin room in Imperial College with Lady_DHS for what's left of the Proms. Lord_DHS has gone away on business tonight, and I've promised to keep an eye on her. So I'm in a position of responsibility No wasabi nuts? I would have thought that green spicy nuts would be right up Martle's alley. [ahem] I suppose that since I'm not even going to be there, I shouldn't vote for nuts anyway... Anyone know where I can get wasabi nuts in my city?
Not in Edinburgh. If you were in Durham I'd suggest the Food Weighhouse, on North Road. (I haven't been to Durham for a couple of years now, since my mum moved south, but it was still there the last time I looked...)

Biroc, Quartertone, the Fragment and I ate lots of wasabi nuts when we were over in Darmstadt. Animal eventually managed to get us to switch to plain ones. (BOO!)

Who's the sod who voted for Gruel nuts? (My vote was Cashews, but thinking about it, you can have too many of those....) What about Coconuts? They come with a free drink. May well make an appearance tomorrow, disguised as a black hole. Tomm O(That's not quite as large as a LHC, is it?)

Who's the sod who voted for Gruel nuts? Oh, I thought, er, I'm sure they thought they were voting for actual gruel. Not nuts. Gruel. Is gruel also a nut?

Looks like it's going to have to be gruel, folks. Unfortunately I shall be unable to share it, having been let down by the babysitter for tomorrow evening. Keep some gruel for me to have next time please.
