Will this do, hh? Yes thanks, but I'm definitely still going to be up here so won't be able to join you down there. As it were. Have fun.

Sadly can't make that one either, although if anyone is in Barnaul, W Siberia that evening, they're welcome to join us backstage after the show I'll be in London for 4-5 days fr 30th Sept if anyone has meets or concerts?

I'll be there on Thursday but I can't make the 16th, unfortunately. Sorry to miss you, BobbyZ - we never quite seem to have a proper conversation!
Perhaps this is a good moment to announce that I'm going to be in Edinburgh in October - probably from Friday 17th until Sunday 19th. I'll be busy on the Friday evening and all afternoon and evening on Saturday, but if it were possible to meet any Scottish members for teas, coffees etc. in-betweentimes that might be fun. (I could stay till Monday at a push, if lots of people were likely to be free on Sunday evening.)

Excellent. I'll be in full term-time mode by then so an Edinburgh meet-up would be a useful diversion!

Now then. Tomorrow evening. I am on NUTS duty again, it seems. Those that are aiming to be there have until about 10am tomorrow morning to vote on the variety of nut(s) they would prefer. Your choice, ladies and gents: 1) Peanuts 2) Delicious toasted cashews with lots of black pepper and a dash of olive oil 3) Stale, almost inedible hazelnuts which have been at the back of my cupboard for two years Vote now, and watch out for hanging chards.

No wasabi nuts? I would have thought that green spicy nuts would be right up Martle's alley. [ahem] I suppose that since I'm not even going to be there, I shouldn't vote for nuts anyway... Anyone know where I can get wasabi nuts in my city?
