Or be like Bob Hope, Christian, Buddhist, Moslem, Shinto and Celt. No point blowing eternity on a technicality!

I am like Kittybritton. I accept all religions believes (as long as they are not fundamentalists).
All religions promote good in people, but unfortunately people fight each other using religions.

There are many positive messages in religions that help people live. No religion promots bad behaviour to nature or another human. One has to be kind, tolerant and generous because of selfish reasons.
One's health is much better is one is in piece with himself and the Univers (the world).
One can feel it on their own health. Hate and anter go together with bad health.

Lord Byron may think himself cool but on several occasions he has endorsed a "philosophy" which can only be described as bizarrely nihilistic (I refer to http://www.[edited].org/) and surely couldn't be called cool.

hhmmmm! [edited] or another hundred years or so of just carrying on should do it anyway. is there an ethical difference?

does faith require worship? i have faith in the four horseman of the apocalypse, but see no need to offer them encouragement.

I don't have any problems with people who have a faith, I just don't like it when they try to ram it down others throats (especially "Born Agains")

Matrimony?  Geeeze; moving a bit fast methinks; we're only on page three!

Hmm.  Watching a documentary on the South-African facet of the African AIDS epidemic; seems there're a lot of glorified dieticians sincerely screwing things up; (a proportion of them and ) their use of religious rhetoric in explaining why they do what they do really just infuriates me, as I'm sure it would anybody.  Of course even without that they'd still be silly, but they would be even more obviously silly.  I probably shouldn't go on, but it really got to me, so I'm going to say it here: I can't stand (well...have a low tolerance for it anyway) it when people use religious/spiritual beliefs to justify anything.  Sure people can say they are driven by some spiritual fervour, but when they say it like it rationalizes what they're doing they're getting into extremely dangerous territory.

Maybe I should up the garlic content of my diet; might help keep my spleen under control...

Someone should have mentioned that to Baudelaire, perhaps!

Garlic is very good for us. If we all would eat it nobody would smell badly.
Garlic is good for hypertension too. It  cleans blood.
However, some people can not take it because it is too strong (spicy) for their stomachs.

And the devil doesn't like it so it's best to always have a string of garlic hanging round your neck just to be on the safe side.  Grin

(Nice big handbag also necessary for the obligatory wooden stake).
