Ho Milly.  I am sorry you found it necessary to use the word "flounce".  Flouncing is usually accompanied by a jerk of the body or a limb.  I cannot think tht Michael was involved in any such movements.
Cheers
S'wave

My judgement, after very many years' experience in dealing with people, is this: Michael will not at any time whatsoever be "flouncing off". Mark my words!

Sorry but flouncing was how it seemed to me.  It was petulant to just close the boards like that without giving any of us an explanation.  None of us knew what was going on, or what to do.  Quite rude actually.

That said, I have proffered my thanks and gratitude and would prefer that Michael stayed on rather than left.  He seems to still be quite indignant about it all though.

I'd just like to echo all of the positive things said so far - I am glad to hear this place is still going!

All the best to Michael and John as well (in case you feel left out!)

Can I have a beer as well as the nice bottle of red wine has now worn off and realisation that I have another stupidly busy week at work has dawned...

Goodnight all anyway!  Wink

You have to have moderator status to qualify for free drinks, to make up for the hassle of running the board, hence, an incentive to both moderate the board and organise meetups Smiley

Michael; would like to second the appreciate others have voiced here for the vast majority of the mod work (I've voiced my opinions about the recent exceptions elsewhere) you've done over the past several months I've been on here.

if you need to drive home,we could do a 'boarders' meal before a wigmore concert, and leave moderators out of the 'bill split'

cafe rouge is near wigmore hall , ask is next door Smiley

And so this noble Caesar is dispatch'd by the senate!? Cruel unjust fate. The forum must surely burn as did befall mighty Rome. If only the same would happen to Radio 3...

How extraordinary that someone with 16 posts should respond to a thread that began on 14th October.

And who's previous posts glorified classical music mayhem website.

Care to step under the bridge?

Well I can read, is that so extraordinary here? Plus I have my inside information, regarding whom I shall remain silent. However I am content you saw fit not to contradict my sentiments above.

But thank you for promoting my site. Can you believe, Mr Termite Lover, that when I last visited this forum a number of your members refused to even consider joining CMM purely on the grounds that some of the membership there had silly names...

As far as I can see no one has been dispatch`d, noble or otherwise. Any one noticed the heavens themselves blazing forth? Maybe I missed it?
