Cheers Michael.  The BB thing isn't that important.  I'llsee if I can find the log in page somewhere and try that.

Everything else is going really well with this board!

Actually Michael, I'm doing this post from BlackBerry.

It all works fine, it's just a but tricky to find the log in link.

So, I can now be happy even if the train is delayed!

Thanks

Ah the rumours are true then - you really are from New Zealand? Wink

Which in London must be a good thing. Or even a prerequisite.

Yes please for a 'Forthcoming Concerts' section.  I'd like to advertise concerts that I play in if that's not against any rules (It's a bit sad playing to a small audience.....)

Cheers

Tommo
I know exactly what you mean. Sad
My late father had a problem with audience sizes whenever he tried to promote a local concert, and I think was a tad jealous of the school bandmaster who always played for a packed house.

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.

Yes, typing a but is a but tricky when you have predictive texting, but can cause a but of amusement. Wink

Just joined. Two questions: how do I change my display name? How do I ensure my email address is not visible (I've already ticked the "hide" box).

Welcome John. Not sure what you mean by your display name. If you mean "john bennett", you would need to ask the moderators to change that for you. The email one is an easy answer, you have already done enough by ticking the "hide" box. You will still see the email symbol but it is only visible to you ( a quirk of the system ) It isn't visible to anyone else ( I can confirm that I can't see it )

Thanks BobbyZ. It seems that there is a "name" and a "username", which in my case at least are the same - no problem, although I'd expected to be able to change one of them. As for the email address, I'm reassured that only I can see mine.

John B (or whatever you decide to call yourself!) - welcome to the forum.  This place has plenty of fun as well as some serious music discussion....

What's your main interest?  Lots of interesting people here whatever it is.
