Just wondering if anyone would like to see anything different? Is there something you'd like to see that isn't here?

Feel free to criticise me, i can take it.  Smiley

Coffee Bar is a nice idea, I'm just wondering if displaced wafflers would welcome some indication that Waffling
per se is Ok on the menu (eg the epic movie screenplays etc that resulted on the BBCsite might at some stage
require a waffling thread?) The great thing here is to have the flexibility back. See what you think Michael, your'e doing a great job already.

Thanks Marble, I'm always open to suggestions.  Smiley

Would the waffle/waffling thread be another forum, like the 'Coffee Bar.'?

How about a section classifieds - limited to personal sales of CDs - another of the forms I post on has one that works fairly well (though it's not really all that useful for us classical fans):

Nice suggestion Tam,

Definitely something I will look into further if the forum is still buzzing in a few days.  Cool

You've spoiled us already, Michael!  Amazing - a board I can access at 9am my time (6am in London)  Smiley

I think we must all try to concentrate on making this board more than the old one was, and not merely a replacement for it  Wink  Let's try to drag-in our other friends and colleagues who didn't access CMOR3?

Michael
Thanks so much for reacting so quickly to the BBC's ghastly decision. I love the boards already. Just one thing: can you change the spelling of 'sponsered' to 'sponsored' - or is that imposed on you by myforum?

I can see Michael is going to be inundated with requests from the R3 Spellchecker Society  Roll Eyes

Now this is really being cheeky on my first day here, but I guess the range of smileys is board-imposed?   I know they are an utterly childish feature,  but since they're here anyhow...   any chance of devil, peacedove, beer, champagne, magic, etc?

Unfortunately right now we are stuck with the default smileys.  I'll look into adding more, but I don't think it's going to be possible.   Sad

How ever will operacat discuss The Divine Thomas without an extended range of magical smileys?  Wink

Not sure if this falls within your remit.

I like the Youtube idea of being able to rate programmes with stars. Quick and easy. Generally (I think) people complain more readily than compliment.

BTW "sexually oriented" on the sign up conditions should read "sexually orientated". Churches are oriented. "Sexually oriented", presumably simply means making love facing east. Does this equate to a Missionary Position ?

I know that it plays music that can be discussed already under the jazz ,world and classical headings but should there be a section dedicated to Late Junction?
