The Tchaikovsky is exactly the same title as the R-K!

The Saint-Saëns is there on that Le Roux disc, but you may not see it... Wink

The Nielsen link is still a mystery (I know of a R-K scenario of Saul & David, but that's not the correct answer, since MASKARADE is correct).

An orchestral excerpt from Maskarade should provide the link.

No to the Tchaik. Remember the wintry connection for the Tchaikovsky, which leads to a famous R-K opera.

Bax – Christmas Eve
Ives
Nielsen - Maskarade - Dance of the Cockerels
Saint-Saëns
Smetana – The Bartered Bride
Tchaikovsky

Is that really the subtitle of Tsar Saltan?! Not wintry enough....what weather might you get in Winter (well, in Russia perhaps)?
