Not Russian Funeral, John. The connection isn't geographical.

Some wild stabs at this stage...

Gershwin - Walking the Dog
Britten - The Turn of the Screw
Anderson - The Bearded Lady

A hit, a palpable hit, IGI. The Bearded Lady it is but not, I fear, the other two. You get another composer for that.

Mussorgsky  -  The Great Gate of Kiev
Julian Anderson  - The Bearded Lady
Gershwin
Verdi
Britten
Trevor Jones

No Mohicans, Tommo. Sorry.

I think I should say at some point, and why not now, that the Verdi we are looking for isn't a complete work but an aria from an opera.

Not Labyrinth either, Tommo. Sad

Helpfully intended hint. The Gershwin is probably the best known of the remaining pieces.

Again, no, I fear. Try another very well known Gershwin piece, Tommo  Smiley

Just a stab in the dark here, but they're not all the names of paintings, are they?

Trevor Jones - Mississippi Burning.

And the connection is chicken dishes, most of which I haven't heard of....

Chicken Kiev
Rhapsody Chicken
Mississippi Chicken
Bearded Chicken

Hopeful emoticon....
