Is it a common word link, hh?

Or is it to do with nationalities?

Henze - The English Cat
Ligeti - Hungarian Rock
Brahms - Hungarian Dances
Dvořák - Czech Suite

It's even easier than a common word...
Now I think about it, it's probably far too general.  Embarrassed
Go for the obvious ones! (i.e. not anything to do with nationalities)

That's right.
Too obvious?
Or was the fact that it was obvious terribly cunning?
I wasn't aware of either the Henze or the Dvorak (or the Dufay if I'm honest) and I quite liked throwing in the Brahms/Ligeti herring rather than getting to Ockeghem all of a sudden.

(or the Dufay if I'm honest)
The Dufay does not actually survive, though, I believe, so we won't be coming across it in the Repertoire Test any time soon.

Sometimes it's so obvious that you don't see the wood for the trees, hh!

Try these four!

Chopin
Johann Strauss II
Torke
Sousa

Well, I suppose a waltz might just feature as one of the compositions, bbm!

Could it be colours?

Johann Strauss II: Blue Danube
Torke: Ecstatic Orange (though it could be Yellow Pages or a variety of other colours)
Chopin: Black Key Etude in G flat major, Op. 10, No 5
Sousa: The Black Horse Troop

Not colours on this occasion, although the Torke, unsurprisingly, is a 'colourful' score!

Chopin
Johann Strauss II
Torke
Sousa
Tchaikovsky

Does that mean it's Torke's Yellow Pages?

I was fumbling about trying to find something about telephones and telegrams (didn't Strauss do a Telegram Polka?), but the Chopin, and now the Tchaikovsky, made me stop that line of enquiry.....

It's not Torke's Yellow Pages, but you are barking 'up the right tree' so to speak...
