For some reason, I can't stop thinking about Terrains vagues but I can't see how that has anything to do with anything.

Time to go to work.
No joy there, hh. Perhaps an extra composer may help. Alan Ridout Britten Nyman Grétry Nørgård Messiaen Barber Satie

What did Sudden think? I thought he was in Paris? It seems his thoughts could be worth pursuing, young Antheil...

IGI, when I said I had a sudden thought I did not mean I had an Oliver moment I cannot see he said anything? I did think constellations/light this morning but know cannot remember why I jotted down the phrase, so as a kick off how about: Norgard - Constellations Ridout - Light and Shade Messiaen - Canyons aux Etoiles Britten - Les Illuminations

So are we going for a full set of twelve then? In which case the Britten would be the Gemini variations for example?

Lumme, if IGI sets fiendish teasers like this to us as his friends, what ever does he get errant school children to do to learn the error of their ways?
