Way to go! My cycle or yours? Love it when you talk that way - you're a dish (no offence to Mr Dish, of course).

Now there's another Paceism with which I've become increasingly familiar; "go and look it up /read about it" as thoug the addressee has never even thought to do anything of the sort until udged to do so by Dr Pace... Because in the end it does get rather tedious always having to spell out some rather elementary terms If you regard "heavily gendered interpretation" as an elementary term, then I have to say that you are rather further removed from the planet the rest of us live on than I thought. Is there anyone else here who thinks "heavily gendered interpretation" is an elementary term? ALL of you? I think I have no alternative but to do the decent thing. Goodbye, heavily-gendered world....

Hey man - spare a thought for how a major cut-back on the evil weed might affect one's spirit of good cheer (or perhaps some spirit, or some good cheer, would rectify that situation?). Then I should go and try playing through the recently discovered 11-hour Concerto in modo dirmi che cosa desiderate, che cosa realmente realmente realmente desiderate

It was only discovered a mere 11 hours ago? And you already have the score? Well, one must conclude from this that you are either its discoverer or its composer. "Desiderate", huh? (as in "Go Pace-idly..."?) - and "che cosa nostra", surely? I, for one, look forward eagerly to your heavily gendered interpretation of this piece which, I'm sure, will constitute a significant addition to your repertoire list... Happy practising! And (to be more serious), best of luck with today's hoped-for faglessness. Best, Alistair

I think you're all doing amazingly well! It must be so difficult and I'm full of admiration that you're even attempting to battle the weed. Keep up the good work.

May the empty ash tray be with you . Absolutely! Aren't they gorgeous when they're empty? Unlike bottles, for example. Keep it up, Ian!

And then how about the 13-hour Concerto da estensione per le stelle? Or even, since we're now in outer space, the Piano Symphony Number Forty-Eleven, Sirius, perhaps? Mind you, do bear in mind that Ian will first have either to discover or compose these works... Best, Alistair

I am doing exceptionally badly at chucking the weed away...I've probably smoked more since the ban came in. My natural urge to protest against this Government is stronger than my resolve to quit. Well done Ian, sounds like you're doing fantastically...
