The forecast is good for this area for the weekend which means that we'll have lots of weekend tourists around.  Good for the shops anyway. ( Although I think they're a nuisance myself - you can't park anywhere and they mill aimlessly around 5-abreast looking dazed.).

Tourists are a nuisance unless you are one, in which case, of course, you aren't one. Only other people are tourists.

Or day-trippers, who are already pouring into Brighton in their droves - coming back out of the town centre just now the traffic was backed up all the way in.  This followed the slightly bizarre experience of hearing the end of Act I of Grimes on Building a Library while driving along a calm and sunny Hove seafront, with the sun glinting off a calm sea.  The start of Act 2 would have been so much more appropriate ...

Day-trippers? Patcham Silver Band enthusiasts, pw, jostling for a place on the rail. Smiley

All the best for this afternoon's performance, bbm. Looks a beaut of a day.

Good morning!  And congratulations to all those of us who woke up this morning without a splitting headache.  It's going to be a good day!  Cheesy

Off to football practice, then lunch and then a visit from two of Ieuan's cousins from "the other side"  Shocked.  After that we have some ingredients to do some scientific experiments, as per his library book.  We are making crystals, with firstly sugar and food colouring, then epsom salts, then bicarb, two jars and a long piece of wool.  Should be great fun.  Grin  Then big roast dinner for all the family at 6 - and whaddya know - another day gone!

Mornin' all. Well, seeing as how it's another glorious day down here I'm going to go for a lunchtime picnic with friends on the Pevensey Levels, a little bit of Norfolk right here in Sussex:

Now, let's see... fishpaste sandwiches - check. Thermos of strong tea - check. Robust red wine, crusty Italian bread, selection of cheeses and salami - check.  Grin

Good morning all. Like the photo Martle. I'm going out to take some snaps with my new camera. By Friday I should have them on the PC and by Christmas, if things go well, I might know how to post them on here!!! ( Do try and contain yourselves.)
